About EACC

Our Background

The Eswatini Association of Construction Consultants – EACC (Imvukuzane) is a national organisation speaking on behalf of its members and specialised affiliate members. The Association is an association not for gain. It have perpetual succession and be capable of suing and being sued in its own name in respect of any contract entered into by the Association or any matter arising out of the exercise of any of its power, the performance or non performance of any of its duties in terms of this Constitution.

The Executive Committee

Executive Committee shall consist of the Chairperson, the Treasurer, First Vice Chairperson, Second Vice Chairperson and Secretary General, Vice Secretary and three ordinary Members. Members of the Executive Committee shall be appointed for a term of 3 years provided that the inaugural Chairperson shall be appointed for a term of 4 years.

Our Objectives

  • Generally watch over, promote and protect the interests of members;
  • Promote excellence, just and honourable practice in the conduct of business and to eradicate malpractices;
  • Regulate relations between members and their employees of trade unions;
  • Encourage the settlement of disputes by conciliators methods;
  • Promote, support or oppose as may be deemed expedient any proposed legislative or other measures affecting the interests of members;
  • Advise members on matters affecting the relationship between themselves and their clients;
  • Co-operate with any other organisations which may be established to deal with matters that affect members;
  • Acquire either by purchase, lease or otherwise any movable or immovable property, also to sell, let, mortgage or otherwise deal with and dispose of movable or immovable property or other assets belonging to the Association or use such property for such other purpose as the members may approve;
  • Borrow, invest, lend, subscribe or donate money for the furtherance of the objects of the Association;
  • Use every legitimate means to encourage all person who are eligible for membership to become members;
  • Affiliate with or join any federation, or to otherwise co-operate with any similar Association or federation;
  • Promote and uphold the status of the construction sector in general;
  • Do such other lawful things as may appear to be in the interests of the Association or its members and which are not inconsistent with the objects or any matter specifically provide for in the Constitution; and
  • Foster and encourage the training of person for the construction sector and its Allied profession and the general educational advancement of persons engaged in the industry.
